A New Series is Born

As you may be aware Ullman Sails has been the major supporting sponsor for the following regattas which were billed as the Ullman Sails Inshore Championships. The regattas have been as follows:

NHYC Ahmanson Cup - CYC Cal Race Week - LBYC / ABYC Ullman Sails Long Beach Race Week

The above regattas have specifically catered to the buoy racing crowd for many years with great success.

The Ullman Team is taking the same expertise developed over the years for the Inshore Series and creating an Ullman Sails Offshore Championship Series. The races for the 2010 race season to kick off the Ullman Sails Offshore Championship Series are:

NHYC / SDYC Island Race - This is a new race from Long Beach, out around Catalina and San Clemente Island and finishing in San Diego.This race has already gathered entries and they are up to 30 boats so far.

CBYC / DPYC Around Catalina to Dana Point Race

SBYC / KHYC Santa Barbara to King Harbor Race

This series should be a great addition to the Southern California racing program. It will provide more of an incentive for SoCal racers to enter all 3 races, significantly increasing participation. Pack your overnight bags!
