CLAY & BURCH CLINCH CAL 20 NATIONALS

Ullman Cal 20 Sails upwindUllman Sails customers crowded the podium last weekend at the Cal 20 Nationals as Chuck Clay and Mike Burch on “Venteseis” were crowned the 2009 class champions. The “Venteseis” team dominated in the light and shifty conditions, finishing 11 points ahead of second place. Chris Raab and Kenny Dair, took silver in the regatta. Both teams were fully powered by Ullman Sails, using the new 2009 “LOS” mainsail. “The main I got from Ullman Sails was the easiest to trim by far and smoothest sail I have ever raced with!” Raab said.

Keith Ives, who switched to full Ullman inventory after the first day of racing and proceeded to win two races, clinched the third place spot. All up, the top five finishers in the championships all competed with Ullman Sails onboard.
