Ullman Sails Melges 24 Sails Winning Across the Country

Ullman Sails Melges 24 Sails Winning Across the Country

Brad and Traci Bradley on their way to winning the eleven race ‘Nanaimo Yacht Club spring series’ in PHRF. Racing in the cold north/west has it’s own challenges; the crew used Ullman Sails to help them get to the warm yacht club faster! Brad and Traci Bradley recently took ownership of the USA 539 from Kristen and Peter Lane and promptly traveled to Seattle to win the 2010 Puget Sound Sailing Championships.

Speaking of the Lane’s, Kristen Lane won the ultra competitive 2011 Charleston Race Week in the 45 boat Melges 24 class using an all Ullman upwind inventory. Even when Saturdays racing was canceled, this hard-core team joined 4 other Melges 24s on the water for some practice for the upcoming Melges 24 Worlds in windy Corpus Christi, Texas. Great photos and video of the windy ‘practice’ day can be found at Sail22.com and Sailing Anarchy’s ‘On The Water Anarchy’ forums.
