Congratulations to Pass Christian Yacht Club's John Dane for winning the 2016 Viper 640 Gulf Coast Championship. Six races were held May 21-22 out of Fairhope (AL) Yacht Club as part of the GYA's Opening Regatta. Details and results tomorrow. Vipers, a dozen or so Flying Scotts sailing the Capdevielle Opening
Regatta and five Fish Boats. Interestingly, this regatta featured the
past, present and future of the GYA Capdevielle interclub series.
