Balboa Yacht Club's Sunkist Series #3 did not disappoint. Racers were greeted with perfect 10-13 knots of wind from the SW-W. It looked like all the fleets got out of the harbor with good wind and tacked up the beach to the far and mid windward marks. Spinnakers were set and the fleet raced back to the entrance turning buoy "J" for the headsail dog leg to the short finish. Remember racers, 5 knot speed limit in the harbor!
The next race for the outside course classes is February 8th. Many of the classes are up for grabs and the final race #4 will be the deciding race! Class "C" has a three way tie for first place with "Legacy", Whistler" and "Doubletime". Check back after race #4 to see who the winner is!
