March is Mexico Race Month (check back for Ixtapa-Acapulco report)! Newport Harbor Yacht Club hosted the spring race to beautiful Cabo San Lucas. The fleet was sent off on two different start days with the smaller boats starting on Friday and the bigger boats on Saturday. The goal of this start style is to get most of the fleet in to Cabo within a day of each other, but can give different weather scenerios for leaving SoCal. This year was no exception.
