2009 Gil Knudson / Argosy Regatta

BCYC and NOSA hosted the 2009 Gil Knudson and Argosy regattas together this year. Racing consisted of one random leg race on Saturday and two random leg races on Sunday. Racers were met with a decent wind and sunny skies.

Class ‘A’ was won by the David Grey’s Davidson 44, ‘Pendragon’. Following 'Pendragon' in second place was Denise Rosene’s Farr 40, 'Radical Departure'.

Class ‘B’ was won by Erik & Jon Shampain & Robert Plant’s Hobie 33, ‘Still Crazy’. Second Place was won by Jeff Burch and his J-105, ‘Hot Ticket’. Both boats featured complete Ullman Sails inventories.

Class ‘C’ was won by ‘Lickety Split’, owned by Joe Degenhart with 100% Ullman Sails. The Moore 24 ‘Maiden’ owned by the Rizvold brothers was second and also sailed with Ullman Sails.

Overall winner after the dust had settled was the Hobie 33, 'Still Crazy'.
