2010 Ahmanson Cup & USIC #1 underway

Newport Beach, CAThe Ahmanson Cup at NHYC is the host of the first race of the Ullman Sails Inshore Championship. With close to 50 boats in the regatta, this year looks like another good start to the grandprix racing in SoCal. The racers saw light SW winds all day with a spike of up to 10-11 knots of wind, but then alot of the 5-7 knots of wind.
Saturday leaders are: "IT's OK" one point ahead of the "Emirage II"in the Fast 50+ class, "Entropy" the defending overall champion tied for 1st with "Martela" in the Fast 40 class and "Linstar" leading the Sport-sprit boat class.
