One Design & PHRF Speed to win!

California Yacht Club hosted the Spring Keelboat Regatta with two PHRF classes and some OD classes. Ullman Sails customers had an easy time finding speed in the light air on Saturday and speed and pointing on the windier Sunday.
John Staff and his crewed sailed the Viper 830 "Plankton"* to straight bullets in PHRF A and Curt Johnson sailed his J-80 "Avent"* to 5 straight bullets in PHRF B. Both boats used Ullman's FiberPath upwind sails and AirX nylon downwind sails! In PHRF B 2nd & 3rd place was Michael Eisenberg's Ultimate 20 "Toon Town"*(new carbon rig) and Derek Heeb's Santana 30/30 "Redline"*.
The Martin 242 class had the most enteries and was a sweep of 1-10 for Ullman Sails customers. Mike Geoerge sailing "All In"* won by 1 point ahead of Yumio Dornberg sailing "305"*. Mike is the reigning North American Champion!
