The 20th Anniversary of the Delta Ditch Run was anything but ordinary. The usually down wind race was a mostly upwind affair that saw 8 boats drop out before even getting to the Delta. The wind was upwards of 20kts blowing out of the NE at the start of the race. The upwind conditions did not favor the lighter sport boats and this year the overall winner was the classic wooden 8 Meter Yucca. Congratulations to Hank Easom and his crew on the victory. Yucca is using a brand new Carbon GPL Main from Ullman Sails.
