SPORT BOATS EARN A PODIUM SWEEP + PCC TITLE

Sport boats converged on San Diego’s South Bay last weekend for the 2011 Fall Sport Boat Regatta where Ullman Sails customers claimed the Flying Tiger 10 Pacific Coast Championships and a full sweep of the Viper 640 podium!  Congratulations to Paul and Julie McPherson and their crew on the FT 10 “Niuhi” – they took charge early on Saturday and collected three straight bullets to open the event.  “Niuhi” competed with 100% Ullman Sails onboard and sealed its PCC title Sunday in the 8-boat fleet.
Elsewhere on the racecourse, Chris Winnard and team on “Disaster Area” finished first overall with five bullets out of six total races in the Viper 640 fleet.   James Sears and his crew, Keith Magnussen and Gina Liotta, on “The FNG”  (pictured on right) finished in second overall, only three points behind "Disaster Area." Tim Carter’s “Viral” was third overall in the 8-boat fleet.  The Viper 640 podium was fully powered by Ullman Sails!
