Weekend Re-Cap

This past weekend in Southern California saw beautiful warm weather, amazing sunsets,  plenty of sailboat racing and NO wind!  The Dana Point Series #2 was held in less than desirable drifting conditions.  The boats participated in a Random Leg Course that proved very difficult in the light air.  Congratulations to Pendragon (partial Ullman Inventory), Cruzan Time (100% Ullman) and Carrerra (100% Ullman)for their respective class wins.   Bruce Cooper on Legacy Placed Third in class B.  For a full list of results please visit Dana Point Series Results.

Ullman Sails Team Members Scott Poe and Keith Magnussen sailed in the Around Catalina Race on the Andrews 45 Locomotion this weekend.  The high pressure over the Pacific gave some spectacular views of San Clemnte Island and the coast but failed to deliver any wind.  After witnessing a special sunrise we decided to cut our time on the water and motor in.

In Texas James Liston used his new 3A to great effect and placed third in the GBCA Icicle Series.

Congratulations to everyone on the water!  We are looking forward to a jam packed weekend coming up with the annual SCYA Midwinter Regattas all over Southern California.
