Another moderate breeze on day 2 with wind between 13-18 knots. Alan Field's Melges 24, "WTF" showed blazing upwind speed and great tactical calls to lead the fleet all the way around the four leg course of the first race of then day. Even after a blown tack line on the first run and a brief drop to second place, the California based team romped right back to the front and stayed there. In race two of the day, Alan's team stayed strong through shifty conditions to take a 6th place. The total day's total catapulted them into 5th overall and the top American boat.
Blu Moon from Switzerland is racing with the Ullman Dacron main and sailed very consistent taking a pair of deuces to hold onto second overall in this highly competitive fleet.
On the J-105 course, Brian Keane's "Savasana" is leading the pack with a stunning 3,2,1,1 finish!
